Bear Lake

We got invited to go to Bear Lake with the Hansons over Labor Day.  The weather was kind of chilly which is the way any vacation went for us this summer. :(  We still had a great time though hanging out with friends.  Cora explored the sandy beach, sand and babies is kind of the worst though!  Poor thing rubbed it all in her eyes.

I can't believe how big these kids are getting.  It seems like I was just driving them to preschool and Charlie was crushing on Hallie.  They were hiding under the towels here and trying to get the seagulls to land on them. :)

Good morning sunshine!

Dance, Gateway, and Day to Day

Sailor and Kaia did a little dance camp that Leila got to go to and loved.  Their dance was cute.  Such cute and talented nieces I have!

These Kendama's are all the rage at school.  Charlie's been begging to get one, they do it at recess!  He finally had enough money and straight to Station Park we went.  They're a good toy but also very distracting!

Cora got colored on, I think she did this one to herself but it may have been Leila, I can't remember.  It reminded me of me when I was a baby with marker all over my head from my sister Kelle!

Kenya keep saying she wants to play football!

These two started dance and gymnastics at Lightbox.

Leila got to go to Build a Bear for her first time!  It was Scarlett's bday so we took them to build a bear and Discovery Gateway.  They chose palace pets.  They were really cute about them and love them.

This chair is meant for the stuffed animals but Cora thought it was the perfect size for her!

They went to a little activity class at Discovery Gateway.  Cora wanted to be just like all the big kids.  It was cute.

I was quite impressed with Leila's drawing of a tiger that she got to do!  She did that all on her own, then glued the tissue paper to it.  She is such a cute artist.

This was a different trip to Discovery Gateway.  The got to make wooden boats and pain them this time.

Cora loved the balls and the little slides here.  It was fun to take them!

Soccer Girls

Must do handsprings when in a open area. :)

Kenya is pretty aggressive out there and doesn't like when the coach asks her to sit out and take a break.

Cora is naughty and runs into the field.  A lot.

Leila's team is tiny and her coach was really sweet with them.

 Cutest little soccer player!

She loves it too which is a little surprising because she's not super aggressive but as the season went on she got better and kicked the ball a lot more.  She was always fine to come take a break and sit with me for a minute though.  She keeps asking when she gets to play soccer again.

Go Leila!

Here's to a busy August!
