Things To Love...

If it's one thing we love around here it's a movie night complete with popcorn from the whirly pop. I just don't like movie theater popcorn or microwave anymore.  I pop my own popcorn and sneak it into the movies!  Mark and Charlie went out one night so the girls and I had a little night in and watched Enchanted.

I can guarantee that the popcorn was spilled everywhere by the end.

Ahhh, spring has been wonderful!  I love looking out my back window and seeing my sandbox filled with neighbor kids or the swing set packed with little monkeys hanging and swinging from it.  I also love sending Leila out the back door and watching her run to play with the kids.  It's been a beautiful spring so far.

St Patricks Day and 10K

I headed down to St. George with some fabulous friends from my neighborhood for a 10k over St. Patricks Day. It was such a fun girls trip and a good race too!

The leprechauns found me and put some candy in my shoe! :)

We decided while shopping the day before that we needed matching green outfits. After much deliberation (it's difficult to find something 5 ladies can agree on) we came up with these pretty little numbers. Ashley was not sold on the flourescent yellow shirt so she went with white. :)
Kristin didn't run the race but when we got back in the car she was a real leprechaun and got us our own little stash of good job treats.! How sweet. :)

Out to lunch.
I am so impressed with each and every one of these ladies, there is so much depth to all of them and I learned a lot from each of them over the weekend. I feel so grateful to have got to spend a fun couple days of girl bonding time with them. :)

20 months

These were suppose to be taken at eighteen months but it was January and yucky outside and time got away from me so she is twenty months instead, oh well.

At twenty months this little one is finally starting to talk. Still not a lot but she does understand most things we say to her. I love testing her to see what she will do. Our favorite (she's been doing this for a while I guess) is telling her to go get in the "tubbee." If she's whining, crying, laughing, playing, she will stop immediately and run to our tub. She also loves going outside on the slide. If I tell her "let's go outside" she'll grab her shoes and jacket and bring them to me. She also says "wanna watch a show" it's very mumbled together but she'll go get the remote hand it to me and say "Mom!" Then she needs her blankie and sippy or binky and she'll sit down and watch a show. She hangs out with me wherever I am and doesn't get in too much trouble for a 20 month old. We love having this little one around, definitely growing up too fast.

She was not too happy at this little shoot, that's okay. I love her somber faces too.

Screaming, she's really good at that too.
