Cutie Cora

This little thing is 18 months old!  I miss my tiny babe but am enjoying this stage too.  This is usually the hardest stage for me but so far she has been really good.  She understands a lot and is starting to say a lot of words too.  More than any of the other kids did at this age.  I put her down for bed the other night, said "Night, night, love you."  She said "Bye!"  very enthusiastically. :)  She loves her binky and gets away with having it a lot more than any of my other kids did, a fourth child thing for sure.  She has been healthy and happy, loves her siblings (especially "Nenya") and says "mom!" all day.

She also loves "Let It Go"  I honestly didn't think she'd been very exposed to this but apparently she has.  We were all shocked when she started saying "let go!"  whenever she would see the characters from the movie. The girls brought her down in this wig and cape one morning. So cute and funny to see her with hair!

Leila snuggles are the best.  Kenya being silly at Target and Cora is now climbing on the table and getting into more and more things.

I look not so great in these pictures, getting ready for the gym, but she was giving me some great kisses and snuggles.  Can't get enough of those.  Cora spends a good majority of the morning in her diaper too.  Another sign of the fourth child. :)

Fall Festivities

I love the seasons but I really love fall.  I love getting back in the routine of things, I love the cooler but still nice temps, I love the crisp morning air and the leaves changing.  It's my most favorite time of the year.  The first weekend in Ocotber was General Conference of course.  I decided to make cinnamon rolls, it's been a while since I've been trying to stay off gluten and sugar but it was time.  Leila was so excited, she didn't even know what a cinnamon roll was!  Always the eager one to help me make anything in the kitchen she got to work with me.  she loved it, but it might have been a little too much, she didn't even eat the whole thing.  On Sunday we had a little picnic inside while watching conference and got some energy out by holding races of course!  Kenya is getting really fast, she almost beat Charlie a couple times.  Love this little family of mine.

The kids are off track, perfect time of year to be off track I think.  We love Station Park, especially when we can ride our bikes there.  We enjoyed a bike ride, some lunch and some cousin time.

Cora's obsessed with "Let it Go." It's funny to hear her sing the song!  She loves it.

Pack's Pumpkin Patch

Leila had a field trip to the pumpkin patch, Thomas Arts Center, and the fire station all in one day!  She was so excited about it, especially the pumpkin patch.  I thought I remembered the letter sent home well enough, come to find out I had the wrong time in my head and got a text from a friend saying she could pick up Leila if I wanted her to still come.  Whoops!  We met up with her class for the last two things but totally missed the pumpkin patch, the one she was most excited about.  Luckily she took it pretty well and I told her we'd go back that night.  It's just down the road from us which makes it easy and we usually go with the kids every year anyway.  Mark and Charlie had football so they had to miss :( but Charlie has been there done that and didn't seem too disappointed.  I headed back with the girls that night and it was beautiful weather (it had been really windy during the day) and we beat the crowds so it ended up working out good. :)

Field Trip

Leila's field trip to the fire station.  We were suppose to go to the pumpkin patch too but I kind of messed up on the time and we missed it.  It was all good though because we were able to go that night and the weather was better for us. :)
