Bear Lake and 4th of July

We got to go up to Bear Lake for 5 fun filled days at my brothers cabin.  I don't think we've ever stayed that long, it's usually a quick trip and it was a lot of fun!  We left on July 4th so we missed all the crowds.  We just went to the lake just about every day and hung out on the beach.  I always thought it was weird when people would do that if they didn't have a boat, now we're those people!  Hopefully one day that will change.  We did rent some wave runners that day.  The kids loved that.  Charlie told me I was crazier than dad though when I took him for a ride!  :) Half the fun is going crazy, right?

Scarlett took her cheetos into the Lake and shared the soggy things with Leila.  Ewww.
Complete with sippy cup sharing.  Leila was not feeling well that weekend, it's safe to say that Scarlett wasn't feeling well a few days later.  Sorry Cam. :(

I love these two little cheesers...

She did a lot of crying.  One night she was so restless.  She wasn't crying but kept talking in her crib, for hours on and off, it was crazy.  Saying "Scarlett, no!" mainly just jabbering.  After a couple hours she finally fell asleep, she had been fevering and was overly tired, not a good combination.

She had happy times too though...

Mark and Jared, just big kids.

She was pretty good with this tetherball.  Mark and I couldn't resist playing a game or two since we had just watched Napoleon Dynamite.  Yes!  Yes!  Yes!

At nap time I would sit with her on a lawn chair and after a few minutes she was out, it was so nice!

My nieces, Kaia and Sailor showing off their gymnastics skills.  Kenya did what she could too. :)

The biggest pizza I've ever seen...

Love Kenya's face, not sure what was wrong...
You can't really tell from this picture but the moon was amazing this night.  You can see it reflecting in the water although you can't see it in the sky.  Just had my iphone!

A really great trip!  My kids had so much fun.  It's always a lot of work but hopefully one day they'll appreciate it!

We got home on the 4th and went to our neighborhood barbeque.  Leila has a serious sweet tooth, so does Kenya but it seems like each child has gotten worse.  Maybe because I've lightened up?  She kept grabbing cookies off the table...

At least she wasn't the only one.  Her little pal Jess was right there with her. :)

Happy 4th!
