She's funny in that she doesn't like a lot of attention on her in some ways. She liked everybody singing to her but was a little shy about it and just like last year by the time it was time to blow out the candles she clung to dad and wouldn't do it.
I love all their faces in the above pic. These three are all spitfires in their own way. They are starting to play a little better we've still got a lot of room for improvement with Leila and Scarlett though. They struggle.
She loves play-doh. I love that it entertains her but I get so sick of cleaning it all up and it drives me crazy that the colors all get mixed up. I have learned to let that go a little though.
Video of "Happy Birthday"
The next morning she woke up to her presents and a few decorations and balloons. She got the Little People princess castle. She is also obsessed with princesses. She loves "I Know you" and Ariel probably the most but she knows every single one of them and loves playing with them and pointing them all out to me. She still talks about Disneyland and asks to go there all the time. "Can we go Dinyland today?" I'll say "No, not today" Then she'll usually say "Maybe morrow?" She asks that a lot lately, I must say that to her but if she asks to do something and I say no or I tell her "maybe tomorrow" then she is fine with it and doesn't throw a fit and usually forgets by tomorrow. She also got a new scooter that she is loving. I made the usual breakast, she chose "kink" for the pancakes and now most mornings when I ask her if she wants pancakes its usually followed by "I want kink pancakes!" Which I don't ever do, "only for birthdays" I have to tell her.
I had a little photo shoot with her outside. I love these pictures because her personality really shines through in them. Happy Birthday princess Leila! Love you to the moon and back.
