Daily

The kids convinced us to get Lagoon passes this year, as long as they paid for half of them which they did.  Always a fun family outing, we love going for just an hour or two.

My good friend Lynette came down from Washington for a few weeks.  They stayed at our house for a couple of those days, we love spending time with them and try to convince them every time to move back to Utah and be our neighbors again.

We attempted to take a pic of the kids, it kind of failed.

11 Years!

Mark and I celebrated our Anniversary a few days early this year.  He made plans for an overnighter at a bed and breakfast in Salt Lake, the Armstrong Mansion.  My mom was so great to come in and stay the night with our kids.  Cora does pretty well with a bottle and pretty much sleeps through the night (wakes up once at 5:00ish) so I felt like I could leave her for a night.  It was great to get away, go to dinner and a movie, sleep in.  Those things you take for granted when you don't have four little ones to look after.

All you get are selfies when it's just the two of you.

Some cute iphone pics...

Love this smiley face in the morning, or anytime really. :)

Love these of Kenya getting Cora to smile and Leila pestering Charlie.

Tumbling Review and Dance Recital

Kenya has been counting down for weeks until her dance recital and tumbling review.  She's been so excited and inviting everyone.  We watcher her tumbling review a couple days before the recital.  She learned a lot this year and loves, loves, loves it!  I'm half tempted to just put her in gymnastics and focus on that but when I ask her she says she wants to do both, she loves dance too.  I have such a hard time figuring out what direction to go with these kids and their activities.  I'm just grateful that they're so active though!

So excited for the trophy!!

Now on to the recital.  She looked so grown up

Sailor and Kaia dance at lightbox too so it was fun to get to see them in all their dances.  They've both gotten so good.  These three look like sisters here.

The recital was way too long.  Over three hours.  It was a long night but I have to remind Mark this is the only thing all year he's had to go to for dance.  Luckily he enjoys watching dance so for the most part he's okay with it but we were all struggling with 3 plus hours.  They need to do something about that.  Kenya and Kiley posing after the pictures.  Kenya has one pose but Kiley has many. :)

We finally (and by me we I mean I) remembered a decent bouquet this year.  She loved all the bright colors and they stayed blooming for a good three weeks.  She was not happy when I finally threw the dead flowers out.

Can you find Kiley?

Cute girls, they all did great.
