Sister Love

I can't even express how happy it makes my heart to see these three little girls together.  I've loved watching Kenya and Leila's relationship develop over the last few years and now I get to see a new little one added into the mix.  Leila is starting to play with her and Kenya and Leila both look out for her.  Leila can be a little over bearing at times but she just loves her so much.  Today when I went into Costco they were sitting next to each other and Leila had her arm around her and was giving her kisses.  There were many cute comments from people, it was sweet.  It seems like just yesterday it was Kenya and Leila sitting in the cart together.  Kenya is the best helper still.  She's so excited to see her and always wants to hold her.  Charlie and Kenya usually get her out of bed in the morning and everyone is looking out for her.  I love having the two little ones home with me during the day.  I love my breaks too, when Leila's at school and Cora's napping, but I'm cherishing the time I have with them.  It's completely different with the younger two than the older two.  We're much more laid back these days.  Maybe that's because Leila and Cora aren't as high energy as Charlie and Kenya were, I mean Leila gets excited when I tell her we're going to the store, she always wants to come with me and I don't mind taking her because she's usually really good.  Cora's a good tag along too.  They're just my little buddies and I love spending my days with them.  I still have my crazy, stressed, super busy, ornery mom, ornery kids, exhausted mom days too.  Plenty of them but I just wanted to focus for a minute on these sweet kids and the joys that they bring me daily.  I don't want to forget them at this age.

The Dentist!

Leila has been to the dentist 3 times in her little life so far and has yet to lay back in the chair and let them even look in her mouth or clean her teeth.  She had a field trip to the dentist the week before her next check up.  I was hoping it would help calm her nerves and I am happy to report it did just that!  We finally had a successful dentist trip with her.  Let's hope it sticks!
The got to lay back in the chair and look in each others mouths.

 And get pretend x-rays too.

Here's the real deal, I was just crossing my fingers that she wouldn't flip her scared switch on.  But she  did great.

Yay Leila!

Day to Day

Cora's pulling herself up on everything.

And still sleeping in the most uncomfortable positions.

We went to Bear Lake for a night with some friends.  I missed this little babe and she missed me. :)

Love tub time!
Love those little buns all clenched tight.

Glad I checked on her this night!  I don't always check on them before I go to bed, I wonder what I miss sometimes.

I love my tub time too.  I am a bath freak in the winter.  I'm always freezing in the morning after workouts and the bath always sounds sooo good.  I usually don't get left alone for very long though.

Finally got this canopy up in the girls room, it's been sitting for months.  A few days later it got pulled down and still hasn't been hung back up. :(

She turned on the tv and changed the station somehow.  Look how proud she is!

Sibling time. :)

Leila's pretty good with a ball and kept wanting me to watch. :)

Jr. Jazz

Charlie had a great season of Jr Jazz this year.  Having a good coach can make all the difference!  They had lots of practices and were a really good team.  The won every game by a good 20 points it seemed. A couple were close but most of them weren't.  He learned a lot and has been using our court in the backyard we put in last year a lot.  It's nice to see it getting some good use!  Charlie played point guard and forward, I was impressed with his dribbling.  He's left handed but you'd never realize it.  He's dribbling right handed in these pics.

I love love love this pic.  Pure joy on their faces and I love how Leila is completely in mid air.

11 Months!

11 months, I can't believe it.  You are the most kissable baby!  You cling to me like a baby koala and I could just kiss those cheeks all day.  You are starting to explore and have learned to climb up the stairs. Usually you climb up there and explore and yell and babble when you want me to come get you.  You're very timid about the top of the stairs.  One time you dropped a toy though and were reaching for it.  I wasn't far but I heard a shriek and watched you barrel roll down the first half of the stairs.  Luckily there's a little landing half way down and I scooped you up as you reached it.  You were fine, just mostly scared I think, and since then you don't come near the edge of the stairs.  You are loving Baby Einstein movies and trying to decide if you like one or two naps.  We have been going back and forth but if it's one it's not a super long one so I'm still trying to hold on to two.  You are so ticklish!  Your neck and your inner thighs especially.  It's so cute.  You still let me cuddle and hold you before bed and I love doing it.  You will not keep bows in your hair usually and I've finally started to give up and rarely put them in anymore.  You're so adorable, love you baby girl.

Leila was waiting at the top for her to go right through her legs.
