Mark and I got away for a few days to spend some time in Arizona with my mom and Rick. What did we do? A bunch of relaxing! Worked out, boys played tennis, laid by the pool, had food cooked for us, went out to eat, went to a couple movies, slept in, took naps, shopped. It was great. Thanks mom and Rick, we could adjust to your style of living any day! :)

Oh People...
Today I was out running errands, not feeling so cute (let's be honest I never feel very cute these days but it was one of those days where you try on everything in your closet and can't find anything to wear) I was at Lowes to pick up a little paint for a project I want to do in Kenya's room when the paint lady says
"I was going to say you better get that baby's room painted quick!"
"Actually it's not for the baby's room, that's already done and I still have 2 months left."
"Oh no!"
Then I went to Ross to try and find some shirts that fit me since I'm already growing out of everything I own. As I was handing my clothes to the dressing room girl she says...
"You look like you're about to pop!"
Me already agitated, "Actually I have 8 weeks left."
"Oh, are you having twins?"
"No"
"A boy?"
"No"
"Oh, well at least it's healthy!"
Thanks lady. I had one lady ask me if I was sure I should be flying when we went to Arizona last week and another lady seriously laughing as she asked me if my baby was "coming soon" in her broken english. I hate to complain, but these people are not making it any easier on me! So I will try to brush it off and be grateful that my baby is "healthy". :) Which of course I truly am.

Mother's Day
It was a beautiful Mother's Day weekend, we got to celebrate with Mark's family on Saturday and my family on Sunday.
Oh how Kenya loves Nate and Maurena's dog Aiden, she's also scared to death of him if he looks at her though. :)

Greyson wants to be just like his uncle Bryan, or does Bryan want to be just like Greyson? Hard to tell.

Me with my sweet kids, could I be any bigger? I sure can because I still have 8 weeks! Can't believe I will soon be a mom of three! I'm so grateful for these cute kids and truly honored to be their mom.

It was also my dad's birthday so we celebrated that too. It was my mom's too but she wasn't here so we celebrated her and her birthday in spirit. :) Love you both! (Love Luke's face in this!)
Oh and this lemon berry trifle I made was absolutely divine. As Kenya likes to say "try it, you'll like it"

Love 'em
A lot of times when i drop off Charlie for preschool Kenya get's a bit sad and has said a few times in her sad little voice "I miss my Charlie." On this particular day when we got home I decided I'd try and cheer her up by painting her nails. It did the trick, she loves getting her nails painted and loves showing them off.

Charlie lost his first tooth yesterday! It's been loose for a few weeks and he's been very anxious to have Mark pull it. He came in our room yesterday morning and asked Mark again to pull it. We decided it was probably loose enough and Charlie was nervous about how bad it was going to hurt but he was tough about it. Mark had to get the tweezers out to pull it since the tooth was so little and his fingers are so big

The tooth fairy didn't end up taking his tooth that night because he kept waking up when she would come into his room so she decided to come the next day during his nap when he wasn't expecting her!
Can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. I got a little emotional yesterday when we were at Lagoon (remember I'm pregnant,) and Kenya and I were watching Mark and Charlie on his first ride on the swings. Charlie looked so old and grown up. It made me a bit sad, he was kind of over all the kiddie rides too he just wanted to ride the big rides. I guess it's time to let go and enjoy the next stage!
Oh and I finally ordered my blog book for 2009! I upgraded this year, spent twice as much money on it but it was worth it! This book is so nice, for those of you who haven't done this you have to turn your blog into a book, the website is blurb.com. It's a little time consuming but very easy!

Dinosaur Park
Charlie had a field trip to the Dinosaur Park, it was the first time we'd been there and the kids loved it!
His preschool teacher is incredibly organized. They all wear their preschool t-shirts when they go on field trips, makes it easy to spot them all. They also have matching back packs with their names embroidered on them. She gave them all fruit snacks and a car bingo game for the ride up their, she thinks of everything!

They loved this part where the dinosaurs looked real and were kind of moving and growling at each other. These are their scary faces.

Who Am I Sir
A Utah man am I!!
We took the kids to the Utes spring game again this year. This was actually the first time I went but Mark has gone for a few years now. It was such a beautiful Saturday and it was packed! I pretty much stood in line with Kenya the entire time for some over priced hot dogs but it was just nice to be outside with my little family. By the time this season starts I'll have three kids and Mark still has only one season ticket, it might be a long season for me! Charlie is going to be heart broken, he's really getting into it, so is Kenya actually. They love the fight song. Go Utes!!

A friend of ours turned 40 and had an 80's birthday party, this is what we came up with at the last minute, scary I know!

My Sweet Oma
My mom's mom, my Oma was here in town for ten days to do some geneology. Some is really an understatement. She comes down from Washington once or twice a year, stays in Salt Lake and goes to the geneology library all day long. I find it quite amazing really. She is very dedicated and believes that this is one reason why she has stayed in such great health for her age. She turns 87 tomorrow and is pretty sure she'll be sticking around until her geneology is done, I told her she better do it slowly in that case.
I think the girls out number the boys just a bit on my side of the family, we're missing one and have two more on the way! There will be 9 girls to 3 boys when the next two are born.
Luke and Knox were MIA so it's just Charlie and Oma in a fuzzy picture.
