Sunday Best

Charlie and Kenya ready for church. Charlie loves his new primary class, I thought he would have a hard time going to a new ward but he did great. Kenya is getting to the difficult stage at church, you know, the roaming the halls stage. She won't sit on my lap for very long anymore but still a ways to go until nursery!

Kenya and her cousin Knox, Colby and Erianne's boy. He's got his arm around her, how cute!
This is cute Greta, Jared and Amy's little one. Greta, Kenya, and Knox are all born within a month of each other.

Girls Weekend

This weekend I got to go up to Park City for an over nighter with my sister and sisters in law. We missed my other sis Kelle who wasn't feeling good. We had a great time shopping, eating, and talking! We were all so excited to have a full 24 hours away to do just that! A big thank you to Mark who was a great sport staying at home with the kids. Thanks sweetie, you're the best!

Mornings Like These...

No Children were harmed in the making of this video.

Okay, so this is what happened...
I bought Charlie some new Buzz Lightyear underwear which he was very excited about. A couple pair have Buzz on the back and he wanted to "see Buzz" and wear his underwear backwards. He's done this with his other character underwear and I've let him, even though it looks like he's wearing bikini underwear on his bum. Well today I told him if he wanted to wear his new underwear he would have to wear it the right way with Buzz in the back. Well that set him off! He was having none of it. I wasn't about to give into him after that sort of behavior so I picked my battle and I wasnt' giving in. He cried for a good twenty minutes about it. I told him I was going to take them back to the store if he didn't want to wear them the right way and eventually he gave in. In the midst of it I had taken away a package of hair clips from Kenya and that set her off (it was her nap time.) So that's when I decided to capture this moment and for my own sanity look at it as humorous.
This is the devastated boy who had to wear Buzz on his backside. I'm sure he'll secretly turn his underwear around when I'm not looking at some point today and the struggle was all for nothing!

Sunshine On My Shoulders Makes Me Happy

Kenya only ate the sand a couple times, better than expected!
She's always doing this crooked smile, I think she's just getting use to all those teeth in her mouth.
Kenya trudging through the sand.

Kenya playing "Peekaboo" With her cute bedhead

Here's Buzz Lightyear after watching "Buzz Lightyear go to the space." This is his outfit that he thinks makes him be Buzz Lightyear. :)
