I got my kids these two little stuffed animals for Valentines. They ahve both woken up from their naps if you couldn't tell. :)
We had a great night up at snowbird. We ate at the Steak Pit up there and it was so nice to be able to sit and talk without interuptions or feeling rushed to get back home to the kids. 
Charlie is doing really well in preschool and loves it! His teachers Miss Lisa and Miss Shaun are great and do so many fun things with them. They had "Beach Day" the other week and I was excited to finally get some use out of one of his many outfits that his grandma has brought him back from Samoa. They had a Valentines party this week and are going to the dentist for a field trip tomorrow. Today he told me he needed to brush his teeth to get all the sugar bugs off his teeth! He is really worried about the sugar bugs and after he brushed he came downstairs and said "mom can you see any sugar bugs?" Then he asked me if he could eat some fun dip which as you know is pure sugar and disgusting (of course I loved it as a kid but am grossed out by it now), I told him it was pure sugar and he said "Oh, then the sugar bugs will come back on my teeth." The he set it down and didn't want it! So grateful for preschool and national dentist month!

This is after his Christmas pajama party at preschool. He got this blanket from his teachers and this U.S. puzzle from a classmate (even though he told me he wanted a wii. :)) He also has started reading! Miss Lisa told me a couple weeks ago that he was really good with his letters and is ready and wanting to start reading so he gets a book sent home with him and we read it at home, when he brings it back he gets a little treat. He's improving with each book, I can't believe he's starting to read, well it's not quite reading yet, he sounds all the words out but isn't quite putting all of them together, he's getting the hang of it though.
We got a hot chocolate maker for Christmas and Charlie loves making hot chocolate. He was asking for it all the time, and I of course didn't want to give the real stuff to him all the time so I just heat up some milk and put in a little carnation instant breakfast in there instead. Hot chocolate to him!

I know I've mentioned Kenya's "monkey loves" before but I love when this little girl wraps herself around me and hangs on just like a monkey. It actually makes it quite easy to carry her around when she's pretty much holding herself up. whenever I get her up out of her crib I don't even need to do much beside bend down and let her wrap her arms around my neck and she just hangs on and wraps her legs around my waist. She loves to rest her head on my shoulder and pat my back when she does this too, it's so sweet. Please ignore the ugly pictures of me.
She loves this diaper drawer and wipes! I found her like this with a wipe in her hand and she was wiping her nose. She also has started saying "deeese!" When I pull out the camera. The other day she was walking around with the camera saying "deeese!" she also says this when she says "please."
I can't believe she is 20 months old! That's how old Charlie was when I got pregnant with Kenya, he seemed so much older to me than she does. She's starting to say a lot of words, her favorite are "mine", and "I want that". What can I say, she's got an older brother, and she is learning how to stick up for herself. Charlie has been saying the past couple days "Mom, Kenya is doing bad stuff to me!" And she's upstairs pulling his hair or pinching him. This is not good when she's around other kids though, she's quite aggressive. I really have to watch her. She's not afraid to hit and pull other kids hair to get what she wants. She also says "cup, ball, apple, hi, bye, baby, Diego, " she has said a lot but is not very consistent with too much. She loves Baby Einsteins still and Little Einsteins, she get's so excited when they come on, she'll point her index fingers out and start dancing, it's just cute to see her get so excited. She loves coloring and playing with play-doh too. It's fun that her and Charlie are starting to play together and interact a lot better. Charlie was giving her piggy backs the other day and she loved it! He's a good big brother to her, he sings to her when she's sad and they always give eachother hugs when one is sad. Love these two.

This is Kenya's new favorite thing to do. The other day I was watching my sisters three kids and Charlie's friend Kody so things were a bit hectic at times. At one point I was doing the dishes when my phone rang. It was a client so I was trying to schedule an appointment when the doorbell rang. It was the shutter guy who was here to install my last shutters. I went out to the garage to clear all the junk in front of the window so he could get to it and when I came back in I realized Kenya was missing. I could hear her little voice from inside the pantry, I opened the door to find this! Now when the pantry door is open she runs straight for it and shuts herself in, by the time I get to her she has a completely stuffed mouth of cereal and another handful in her hand, or she's dumped it out all over the ground.
