Christmas Time
Merry Christmas! I'm a little late with this post, just like everything lately, but that's okay. It's been a busy week! We had a great Christmas. Charlie was so excited for Santa to come. We had Christmas Eve at our house with Mark's family minus his sister Maurena and her hubby Nate who finally had their little boy Samuel on the 19th (almost 2 weeks late!). We got to go visit them that day and I forgot my camera. :( He is a cutie though.
Charlie and his cousins Ricky and Hallie (2 of Rick and Christie's kids)
CHRISTMAS MORNING
Charlie woke up at 6:50, not too terribly bad especially for him but he couldn't wait very long so we had to wake up Kenya shortly after. She's still waking up right here and has her Christmas morning hair style. :)
When Charlie came down to our room he said "Mom, Santa came! I saw the presents and Kenya got a kitchen!"
Giving her lamb loves
She loves these babies! It is so cute to see her play with them.

She loves this gift! She has been playing with it so much, feeding the babies, pushing them in the stoller, putting them down for night night. It's so cute. Note the dolls she won't let go of.

Charlie was waiting pretty patiently until the end to open up his big gift from Santa. He was so excited to get a big race track that he wanted and hasn't stopped playing with it.

My mom and Rick came up from Arizona this year, it was great to see them for Christmas!
That night we went to Jared and Amy's for dinner. They are great hosts and we had a fun time.
We had a wonderful Christmas! This year Mark and I decided not to get each other anything since we need a new video camera (Santa did manage did get us each a new pair of shoes though) but I was totally content with watching my kids enjoy their presents, it brings the excitement of Christmas back again, (and no this does not mean you're off the hook for all Christmas's now Mark) :) I'm so grateful for my family and feel so blessed!

ok I love seeing yoru christmas morning in action and it was kinda crazy b/c it was seriously our christmas to a t! Marcus was up at 7ish...had to wake up Elise so we could start...she got a baby stroller/dollies which she pushes all day long and wont let go of them...and they both got a kitchen (not as cute as your down east home one...if i had known you were in the kitchen businees too I would have had you just go right back and buy that one for me! WE actually got our neighbors old one but its still way nice and cute...jsut a little more plastic fisher price looking but thats ok!) ANyway, and then Marcus got a race car track...more like hotwheels and not so cool looking as Charlie but still fun that we have kids basically the same ages! And Kenya is too cute with that crazy hair...i wish Elise had even half that hair! Oh and the other funny thing is ELise is totally a binki baby too and I have been thinking I need to get rid of it at 18 months...but I am worried about the same thing...not taking naps. I love that Kenya was still jsut happy after not sleeping for 3 hours...she does seem a lot like Elise too cuase sometimes she'll do that and just plays in her crib. And she is turning out to be not so mellow either..I totalyl thought she'd be calm but she's all over the place. Anyway....sorry I went on and on about my kids...I just lvoe seeing all your fun pics and reading about yoru lives out there in Utah and the fun snow and temple square and all the old things we did growing up. You guys are so cute adn I just can't get enough of all your adorable pictures...you are all so gorgous! Really. Love ya girl!
